Easter Sunday ~ 2020 ~ Celebrating with You Today
An Easter Dance
This joyful dance anticipates the ending of COVID-19. Although we wait to enter this dance, we do not have to wait for Joy. Glenn & Chantelle (click "read more to see video)
Two disciples race to the tomb. The speedy one leaves puzzled: questions – what! How? None of his answers fit.
The second, moving at the slower pace, lingers. Something happened! Why?Resurrection is not so much the answer to the age old question, ‘what happens when we die?’ It’s the inspiration for the quest, ‘What happens when we truly live?’
I love the dancing woman on the altar. And the children almost dancing as they run and hug each other. It brings to mind the lyrics of a well-known song:
ReplyDelete"Dance then wherever you may be.
I am the Lord of the dance, said he.
And I'll lead you all wherever you may be.
And I'll lead you all in the dance" said he.
Hopefully it won't be too long before we can all dance our dances of life together in person again.
Christ is Risen! Allelujiah! Great talking with you on the phone today Chantelle! May the Risen Lord continue to bless you as you minister to others through your actions, words and prayers. Please give my love to ReAnne and say hi to Dennis!
ReplyDeleteHi again Chantelle! Here is my blog: https://myzteryofficial.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteThe abunDANCE of Easter! It looks to me as if the children can't get enough of the loving embraces. I see Jesus, risen, as making his way among us in a circle dance weaving in and out, embracing each one in turn and we do the same. More than enough love to go around!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this Jane. I love the image of Jesus weaving in and out among us, embracing each of us, and I will certainly bring that image to prayer. And since Jesus dwells within us, I will wrap my arms tightly around myself and know that it is also the embrace of Jesus within.
ReplyDeleteYour words also touch on the thing I most want to be able to do once we are free to move around again, and that is to give a great big, long embrace to those to whom we can't give a hug right now.
